The latest edition of the pyrotechnicians bible, Ron Lancaster's Fireworks: Principles and Practice, is now published. This item will only be supplied by email. It lists over 100 companies with details of the services they provide, presented in an easy table format. Lists manufacturers, modifiers, importers, suppliers etc. of displays and fireworks

Directory supplied as a searchable database on CD (£5.70)

Supplied as a searchable database (£5.70)
This database of over 100 companies is simply installed: you can search for a company from a pick list or by entering its name or part of its name. You can print results, email them, or save them as a file. You can search also on: type of service: manufacturer, modifier, importer, supplier, shop good supplier (direct of through shops), firer of displays, supplier of display packs You can find out, for instance, which are the importers in London - or which are the suppliers in all areas except Leeds, London, Glasgow... From the database you can click a link directly to the company's website. You can even save your search for future use. Membership of trade organisations is also provided to give you an idea of the status of the company. The database is supplied on CD-ROM and you can phone for help in installing it - although full instructions are provided. You will need to renew after one year to get more updates. Amendments provided by email. Please note that the copy of the database supplied can not be used on a network.

Information Service

Fireworks offers a search service of the Fireworks database. The database comprises all issues and a search can be made for any word in every issue of Fireworks (except the Directory).

The word or phrase can be the name of a company, your name, or a subject in which you are interested. You will be emailed every article including this search term (highlighted in the text). First search (for one word, name or phrase only) is restricted to twenty items (£40), but you will be informed how many articles have been found and, if you wish to receive more than twenty, you may request them at £1 per article. This service is only available by email.

Fireworks Magazine Advertising Rates

Advertising is available from £25 in the magazine, and on the web site, as well as a distribution service for firework companies or suppliers of associated products and services, like storage, tubes, firing systems etc.
